USC Trojans Top 10 Players: College Football Preview 2022

As it was, USC had a fair amount of talent.

It might not have been of the high standard that Alabama and Ohio State and Georgia could boast of, and Oregon probably had the best starting spot 22nd in the Pac-12, but the boys were in place no matter who took over as head coach .

And then along came Lincoln Riley, combined with the new and looser rules of the transfer portal and the explosion of NIL and all the opportunities that came with it, and Kaboom.

USC was filled with many, many, many amazing players who wanted to be part of the fun.

The program brought in the Oklahoma Heisman-caliber quarterback, landed one of the best running backs in the country — with the double boost of getting him out of Oregon — and signed college football’s top wide receiver in 2021.

Here are the top 10 USC players going into the season — and there are at least 10 more that would have made this list.
