Next, let’s take a closer look at the first TV shows coming in Phase 5, focusing on Agatha, Daredevil, and She-Hulk.

Agatha: Circle of Chaos

Agatha Harkness stole the show in Wandavision. With her cunning manipulations, she really got Wanda. In Wandavision she was shown to absorb all the powers of the witches in her cove and now she has her own show called Agatha: Coven of Chaos.

She attempted to fight Wanda to absorb her powers, but ultimately failed and as punishment, Wanda made Westview her prison.

Katherine Hahn received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

Daredevil: Reborn

We should have guessed that Daredevil would return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. First, all Marvel Netflix shows were pulled and put on Disneyplus. Then, Charlie Cox has a cameo in Spiderman: No Way Home, and Charlie Cox will voice Daredevil in Spiderman: Freshman Year. And now his triumphant return to SDCC has been announced.

And the title of his show comes from a classic Daredevil story: Daredevil: Born Again. The story begins when Netflix’s Daredevil wakes up in a church after defeating The Hand to find a nun sitting next to him.

We all know it’s Matt Murdock’s mother, but Daredevil was canceled and now it’s not cancelled, so we can finally see the classic story on the small screen. The show will have 18 episodes and will start streaming in 2024.

The new She-Hulk trailer meets Abomination

With the She-Hulk premiere just weeks away, Marvel thought it was time to release another trailer to warm up audiences even more. In this trailer, She-Hulk takes on Abomination, a role reprized by Tim Roth.

A special guest star is none other than Benedict Wong, Sorcerer Supreme (on a technical difficulty) and at the end we see someone with nunchucks and that’s our special guest appearance: Daredevil.

With Daredevil appearing in both live-action and animated in Spiderman, and now appearing in She-Hulk, I’m starting to wonder if Daredevil will take on the role that Nick Fury and Claire Temple once had and bring all the characters back together at some point.

Nick Fury put The Avengers together and Claire Temple (played by Rosario Dawson) put The Defenders together.

Echo is coming to Disney Plus

We first met Echo in Hawkeye Season 1, and while she’s originally a Daredevil ally, she made her debut elsewhere. She now has her own show, which is a spin-off from Hawkeye.

MCU Echo Disney Plus

Echo ran the Tracksuit Mafia before finding out that Wilson Fisk/Kingpin was the one responsible for her father’s death and not Hawkeye.

Wilson Fisk is Daredevil’s nemesis, so don’t look too surprised to see Daredevil make a cameo in Echo’s own series, which will premiere on Disney Plus in Summer 2023.

Loki returns for season 2

Loki will pick up where the show left off and continue wreaking havoc in the summer of 2023. In the season one finale, He Who Remains was killed by Sylvie, and now Loki will deal with the aftermath of that.

Loki returns for a second season on Disney Plus in Summer 2023, part of Marvel's Phase 5

Kate Herron, who directed Loki, will not return, quoting: “It’s a lot for a director to work six hours, especially the Marvel way. We didn’t have a showrunner system. We ran this like a huge movie, which I’m eternally grateful for and was a huge opportunity for me. But I’ve thrown so much at it, and it’s a lot.
