Shailene Woodley feels ‘nourished’ after ‘best month ever’ entertainment

Shailene Woodley says her heart and mind have been “nourished” over the past month.

The ‘Big Little Lies’ star, 30, was engaged to wed American football star Aaron Rodgers, 38, but the couple reportedly ended their engagement for good in April.

And in a new post on Instagram in late June, the actress reflected on “the best month ever” after a tarot card reader told her it was going to be just that.

Alongside a picture of herself lying in the grass, she reflected, “By the month of June: if you put the macro-whack world events aside for a minute, you’ve nurtured this woman’s head and heart on a micro level.”

“You gave me oxygen in the form of friends, babies, trees, magic, DANCE, animals, salt, sun, deep conversations, six packs of laughs, availability in the form of tears, PLAY, sunrises, hallway day, stupidity, spontaneity, Flatbread (so much pita!), hello and goodbye. (sic)”

She added: “A beautiful wise Italian man in New York told me this was going to be the best month ever and he wasn’t wrong. (no shame, shoutout: his name is Dante Sabatino + if you go to his website you may be amazed). (www.tarotbydante.com). thank god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sic)”

Shailene previously shared a candid message of love and sadness following their split.

The ‘Adrift’ star apparently addressed her feelings by sharing a poignant quote from author Martín Prechtel on her Instagram page.

The post read: “Sorrow that we express out loud for someone we’ve lost, or a country or homeland we’ve lost, is in itself the greatest praise we could ever give them. Grief is praise because it is love’s natural way of honoring what is lacking.

“Seeing grief in this way helps us respect what we’re going through instead of sinking into shame and discouragement on top of the pain we’re already feeling.”

The movie star also shared another post with a quote from author Christine Caine, which read, “Like plants we grow when we’re buried in darkness…

“Sometimes when you’re in a dark place you think you’ve been buried, but you’ve actually been planted.”

In March, after the couple’s second reported split, a source told People, “Both had intense work schedules over the fall and were unable to focus on their relationship.

“Now that Aaron’s (NFL) season is over, he wants to try again. He thinks Shailene is very special. However, she is more hesitant.”

The couple are believed to have been together since 2020, and news of their engagement broke a year later when Aaron referred to his “fiancee” during an acceptance speech at an awards show.

Shailene later confirmed the news in February 2021 during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
