The 2021-22 Championship play-off final gives Huddersfield a chance to return to the Premier League after three seasons and Nottingham Forest a chance to return to the top flight for the first time since 1999.
Both sides put in impressive performances throughout the season and even threatened to derail automatic promotion hopes for Bournemouth, who secured second place behind runaway champions Fulham.
Huddersfield finished third with a streak of five wins from their last six games during the regular season to make the Terriers the in-form team in the division, while Forest were closer to the bottom of the table during a climb up placements as recently as December.
A 2-1 win over Luton, as hard-earned as the result of the two legs would suggest, sealed victory in the semifinals of the Huddersfield Championship Playoffs. Forest’s path was even more tense, edging out Sheffield United on penalties.

Betting odds between Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest
Forest were bottom of the Championship when manager Cooper took over in September and their slim chances of reaching the final reflect their status as the team with the most points in the second division since then. Had Cooper been appointed sooner, the sleeping giants might have automatically ascended.
Value Betters could well be enticed by Huddersfield, whose manager Carlos Corberan is a master at tactically setting up his side to crush their opponents.
Town’s nine-game unbeaten streak dates back to March and includes seven wins along the way.
