Andor

They released a teaser for the series, which will premiere on Wednesday. August 31, 2022. Just one episode? No, you fool! Two! Two premiere episodes!

Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning composer Nicholas Britell (moonlight, successor) serves as Andors composer.

pasture

Some real not-a-war of stars Energy here, but we’re no less excited for Lucasfilm’s sequel to the fan-favorite 1988 film Pasture. Ron Howard and screenwriter Jonathan Kasdan met on the set of Solo: A Star Wars Story and that led to their collaboration at a pasture TV series. The one and only Warwick Davis took the stage to present the first teaser for the series, which will premiere on November 30, 2022 on Disney+.

According to the official summary:

An epic fantasy series with a modern sensibility, set in an enchanted land of breathtaking beauty, Willow features a diverse international cast with Jonathan Kasdan, Ron Howard, Wendy Mericle, Kathleen Kennedy and Michelle Rejwan serving as executive producers. The story began with an aspiring mage from a Nelwyn village and a little girl destined to unite the realms, who together helped destroy an evil queen and banish the forces of darkness. Now, in a magical world where brownies, wizards, trolls and other mystical creatures thrive, the adventure continues as an unlikely band of heroes embark on a perilous quest to places far beyond their homeland, where they will face their inner demons must come together to save their world.

The Mandalorian season 3

People attending the showcase got to see a little sizzling The Mandalorian Season three, although they didn’t release that to the public. It obviously showed a number of things including meeting the Armorer, meeting Bo-Katan and reuniting with Greef Carga. Mando says, “I go to Mandalore to be forgiven of my transgressions.” Pershing in hiding, Peli Motto, Carson Teva in an X-Wing uniform, and Bo-Katan sitting on the throne of Mandalore. Surely that doesn’t lead to anything bad, does it?

The Mandalorian The third season starts in February 2023.

Ahsoka

Even less new information about Ahsoka. The panel featured a quick hello from star Rosario Dawson in her costume. The creators are still working on the show, so it will definitely come out later.Mandalorian. Sometime in 2023.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

The biggest news is that another new show is in the works! MCU era Spiderman Director Jon Watts apparently stepped down from that Fantastic Four Film to produce (and likely direct) the new series. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. It will star Jude Law and will be Amblin-esque. Executive producer Dave Filoni said it’s set for kids but is “so much for kids as it is The clone wars.” That’s pretty important, if you think about it The clone wars ended in the slaughter of hundreds of Jedi. Fun!

We know Skeleton Crew takes place in the same period as The Mandalorian, Book by Boba Fettand Ahsoka. Well, firmly after the Empire, before First Order territory. The series will also premiere sometime in 2023.

And finally, Harrison Ford took the stage (to deafening applause) to say that the film is almost done and that John Williams (the legend) will be composing the music. Williams was also present and conducted the new one Obi Wan Kenobi topic and the Indiana Jones Theme. Guy just turned 90 in February. Nothing really new in terms of news, but we know quite a bit and the film will be out on June 30, 2023. They also shared this really badass teaser image.

And there you have it! Many war of stars but just as much other stuff. And that’s just the first day war of stars Celebration. What will the rest of the weekend bring?
