Welcome… to Jurassic Park – oh wait, we can’t say that anymore, can we? There is Jurassic Park literally destroyed.
It’s been a few years Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Released in theaters in 2018 and now as part of the 2022 film release schedule, Jurassic World Dominion comes out and combines not only old performers but also new ones, creating a fun and exciting conclusion for the Jurassic world Trilogy.
For those who have to wait for it to be released to the public in theaters, there are likely a few things you may have forgotten Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, when you think it’s been so long. If you don’t have time to rewatch the 2018 film, here are six important things to remember before heading to theaters to catch the latest movies Chris Pratt-leading Movie.
The island where the dinosaurs lived was destroyed
That’s correct. That legendary island we all know and love has completely disappeared. One of the biggest plot points of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Originally, Isla Nublar was going to burst into flames due to a volcanic eruption, so our protagonists had to travel to the island to save some of the species.
Although it looked like they got a decent crowd on the boat before the island completely burst into flames, there’s no denying the sadness of seeing this island we’ve all been watching from the start Jurassic Park Movie slowly being destroyed as smoke covers it. I mean, I know you remember the scene where the dinosaur on deck roared as they sailed away and the island collapsed beneath them. It still haunts me.
The dinosaurs were originally supposed to be moved to a new island, but it was all a ruse
A major reason why the dinosaurs were originally intended to be removed from Isla Nublar, rather than just let them die, was that they should be moved to a new island where they could be safe Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. This later turned out to be a farce.
Maisie (played by Isabella Sermon) overhears Mr. Eversoll (Toby Jones), an auctioneer, and Eli Mills (Rafe Spall) having a conversation about what they originally intended to do with the dinosaurs – sell them on the black market and show them off new armed genetically modified dinosaur called Indoraptor. Maisie then tells Lockwood (James Cromwell), and when he confronts Mills, the man murders him – leaving Maisie all alone.
Maisie is cloned by Lockwood’s late daughter
Cloning is something that Jurassic Park Franchise has never shied away from it, but human cloning was something that hadn’t been brought to the fore before Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, where about halfway through the film it was revealed that Maisie was actually a clone of Lockwood’s deceased daughter.
In the grand scheme of all the chaos that went on during this film, it will most likely play a key role Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, When Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) take care of the girl, she is allowed to play a more important role in the upcoming sequel – especially with this decision Maisie made at the end Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The Indoraptor is killed by Blue
It seems that people in the Jurassic Park Movies can never learn their lessons in terms of cloning and creating new dinosaurs since the Indoraptor in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was one of the scariest living creatures. A combination of Indominus rex and Velociraptor DNA would have wiped out many many innocent lives.
Luckily, everyone’s favorite dinosaur, Blue, came to the rescue and battled the Indoraptor in one of the film’s final sequences, culminating in them battling a glass ceiling that eventually broke beneath them. While Blue is spared and unharmed, the Indoraptor is impaled and killed on impact. So luckily we don’t have to worry about this horrible monster when we move in Jurassic World Dominion.
Blue later ran into the wild
It’s hard to believe it’s been seven years since we first saw Blue Jurassic world in 2015, but now blue is free. At the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Maisie makes a decision in a split second and free all dinosaurs out of their cages at the Lockwood estate due to a prussic acid gas leak that could kill them.
Blue eventually runs into the wild with the dinosaurs as well, with one last look at Owen before disappearing behind the trees. While it’s bittersweet to see her head all alone, it looks like we’re about to meet her again Jurassic World Dominion because apparently she has a baby of her own now – which raises the questionhow the hell do these dinosaurs reproduce?
But at the end of the day, if we’re being honest, I’m just looking forward to seeing this cute little dinosaur because the trailer already kind of makes me feel.
We are now in the Neo-Jurassic era
Although it’s a shame Jeff Goldblum didn’t get around to it play a bigger role Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, It looks like the latest sequel will give him a little more screen time. However, his character, Ian Malcolm, delivered one of the film’s most important monologues at the very end, declaring that we are in the early stages of a Neo-Jurassic era.
Humans and dinosaurs have to learn to live together. Jurassic World Dominion takes place about four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, So it looks like we’ve at least partially learned how to survive in a world with dinosaurs, but now they roam free around the earth and humans have to somehow find a way to stay alive now that they’re not the food chain is no longer at the top.
I’m so excited for Jurassic World Dominion to publish and while it could possibly marks the end of the Jurassic Park franchiseI’m glad to see how this ends and what’s next for the dinosaurs of this world.
