1. Universal Orlando Resort is home to the cult films ET The Extra-Terrestrial, JAWS and Back to the Future from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment nlatest edition of the Summer Tribute Store, now open at Universal Studios Florida. The limited-time retail location transports guests back to the setting of a 1980’s movie theater. (Orlando patch)

2. The Florida Theatrical Association will present their version of the Musical “Blood Brothers” at The Abbey Entertainment Venue from June 10th. The show runs from Friday 10th June to Sunday 19th June at select show times. (click Orlando)

3. Seminole County Public Schools launched a pilot program with software company ZeroEyes for AI weapon detection in January this year in the face of increasing gun violence in schools. The program has now been extended to more than 20 schools. Costs start at around $50 per camera per month. (Orlando week)

Seminole County Republican Party Chairman Ben Paris said earlier this week that he would remain as chairman and Fighting a misdemeanor charge against him in the Senate District 9 “ghost candidate” case. 5. The Fire that spread across Brevard County was 100% contained. Five homes were destroyed by the fire and four damaged. The inhabitants of the houses in the fire zone were not injured. (WESCH)
